ABOUT

Bespoke architectural portraits are such a special and unique gift, for yourself or others.

 

It’s an honour and a joy to be asked to draw places that hold such personal importance.

 

I can draw anything from a favourite pub, a flat building, a childhood home or a forever home, a wedding venue, garden shed, or wherever else might be significant to you or the person.

PROCESS & MATERIALS 

​

All of my pieces are hand-drawn. I’m inspired by Quentin Blake and visible ink lines,  and my work veers slightly from a traditional and realistic style. I add splashes of colour rather than paint every inch of the piece as I like like to leave linework on show.

​

I use Winsor and Newton’s Professional range watercolour paints, and premium watercolour paper (cold-pressed, 300 GSM).

 

Occasionally I will apply high-quality coloured pencil or fine pens for the intricate details.

​

I’d love to tailor a piece for you if you’d like more than one location. Ask me for a bespoke price.

YOU’LL GET 

​

You’ll receive the original hand-drawn piece, in black and white or colour according to your preference.

 

It can be fun to not feel pressured to stick faithfully to to the building’s realistic palette. Why not opt for your or your loved one’s favourite colour combinations - perhaps red and teal, yellow and blue, or colours that match the home surroundings?
